Bank DKI Still Recording Positive Financial Growth Amid COVID-19

Even though it still recorded positive growth, the bank continues to monitor the pandemic impacts on finance performance and the ability of the debtor to fulfill their obligations. Responding on this matter, they also provide relief for credit installment payments or relaxation to customers affected by COVID-19.
"This credit installment relief is in accordance with the rules in the Financial Services Authority Regulation (POJK) number 11/POJK.03/2020 on economic stimulus as a countercyclical policy," he explained.
Based on the third-party funds, they also still have satisfied growth in which Bank DKI's DPK as of March 2020 was Rp 33.47 trillion, still growing 3.09 percent compared to March 2019, which was Rp 32.47 trillion.
This result was mainly driven by growth in savings, which grew 6.82 percent from Rp7.77 trillion as of March 2019 to Rp 8.09 trillion as of March 2020.

As of March 2020, bank assets were recorded at Rp 46.24 trillion or grew 2.31 percent over the same period the previous year. The various business activities carried out have led to an increase in profit of 1.51 percent up to March 2020 to Rp 183.95 billion.
"We also have recently been assigned to distribute a dividend of Rp 285.95 billion in the annual shareholders meeting (RUPST) which was held electronically for the first time last weekend. The amount reached 34.99 percent of the net profit that was booked by the Bank DKI in the 2019 fiscal year amounting to Rp 817.23 billion," he stated.
